Op de eerste dag van het nieuwe jaar kregen wij per mail een compliment van Oscar Escalada, de arrangeur van Verano Porteno, die ons filmpje zag op YouTube. Hieronder zijn tekst:
Dear friends of Cigal Double Quartet.
I have just found your version of my arrangement of Verano Porteno on Youtoube and I would like to express my thanks for your care and lovely interpretation of it. Sometime ago, in Rotterdam at the World Symposium on Choral Music I heard the Netherlands Chamber Choir singing this same arrangement and indeed I learned that you have wonderful singers, great conductors and most of all, a great respect for the music you are doing.
